The Young Bucks could not be more proud of the work Kazuchika Okada does in AEW.
Okada was introduced to AEW as the newest Elite member in March, after signing with the promotion. He was the top star of NJPW when he decided to embark on a new adventure and come to America. Okada’s versatility has been demonstrated in a new environment since then.
Okada was one of those who took part in Blood & Guts at AEW Dynamite on Wednesday. The Young Bucks told Sports Illustrated that they were proud of Okada’s courage in stepping outside his comfort zone.
Matt Jackson said, “Okada is a complete outsider at AEW. He has completely stepped out his comfort zone.” “I could not be more proud to see him learning new things and trying new styles. He is a movie star, with impeccable timing and an incredible sense of humor. He also happens to be the best wrestler alive. I can tell that while he may not like to be in these matches, he is having a great time. It would have been so easy for him to come here and rely solely on what he is already known for. “I’m so proud of his versatility.”
Nick Jackson continued, “Okada’s the best.” “He is adapting so well to new matches that he has never been in. I haven’t seen anyone else be able do it on the spot. It’s been a lot of fun working with him over the last few months. “There’s no one else better.”
In Blood & Guts, Team AEW (Swerve, Mark, The Acclaimed, and Darin Allin) defeated Team Elite. This match is AEW’s version of WarGames.
Okada is currently the AEW Continental Champion.
