WWE’s Ivar is still figuring out options despite a’very serious injury’ in todays Wrestling news
Ivar is weighing his options after sustaining a “very severe” injury.
Ivar confirmed on Friday that he was legitimately injured. He clarified that surgery was not performed. Ivar thanked all of the people for their love and support, and said that he is still figuring out his options.
“There have been a lot of misinformations floating around about my. Let me [clarify]: Yes I am injured,” Ivar wrote. “Yes, it is very serious.” No, I haven’t had surgery. I’m still trying to figure out what my options are and what it means for me in the future. “I want to thank everyone for their love and support not only when I found out I was injured, but throughout the last few months. I have heard you.”
Ivar said he was determined to return to the ring, and perform in front of the fans.
“No matter what, I owe everyone who ever believed that I could do it to get back into that ring, in front of those lights, in front of the most amazing supporters on the planet,” wrote he. “See you [as] quickly as I can!”
This week, there was an NXT angle where Gallus returned and laid Ivar out backstage. WWE announced that Ivar was out of action for the rest of his life due to the attack.
Ivar vs. Wes Lee and Josh Briggs, a triple threat North American Championship Number One contender’s match, had been announced as a match for WWE NXT on next Tuesday. This episode has been taped, with Ivar not participating in the bout.
