WWE’s Drew McIntyre surprises ICW with surprise appearance in todays Wrestling news
Drew McIntyre, a WWE wrestler, made a surprise visit to the After Hours event of ICW in Scotland.
McIntyre, the first World Heavyweight Champion, was a surprise in-ring guest at the After Hours show in Scotland on Saturday morning.
McIntyre’s WWE music video and entrance played as ICW champion Jack Jester stood on the ring. McIntyre teased fighting Jester but then hugged him before cutting a quick promo.
McIntyre posted video clips of his appearance on social media.
McIntyre became the first ICW World Champion ever in 2006. He held the title for 280 consecutive days during his first reign. McIntyre, who was released from WWE in 2014, returned to ICW between 2014 and 2017 to win the World title.
WWE’s Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland will stream live on Peacock/WWE Network on Saturday at 2 pm Eastern time. A two-hour preshow kicks off the event at noon Eastern time. McIntyre is set to face Damian Priest in the World Heavyweight Championship match on the show.
