WWE will announce WrestleMania via social media.
WWE will announce WrestleMania via its social media platforms on May 4, Saturday.
Corey Graves, Wade Barrett and other commentators revealed on Friday’s SmackDown that WWE would make a WrestleMania announcement on Saturday. They also advised fans to stay tuned in to WWE’s various social media platforms.
The announcement is believed related to WrestleMania’s date and location.
WWE has not released a timetable for the announcement other than that it will be made on Saturday.
WWE President Nick Khan suggested that the event may be moved to a later date in the calendar, after traditionally being held in late April or early March.
WrestleMania was held in Philadelphia this year. In the past, the event has also been held in Los Angeles, Dallas and Tampa.
WWE Backlash will be streamed live on Peacock/WWE Network at 1 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday, with the preshow scheduled for 12 p.m. Eastern Time.
