WWE SummerSlam 2020 announced for Cleveland in todays Wrestling news

WWE will bring one of its largest events to Cleveland in August.
Today, it was announced that SummerSlam will be held at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Ohio on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Logan Paul, a native Clevelander, announced the news in his Impaulsive Podcast.
Paul said, “They wanted me announce it and I’m honored.” “Because I am so excited about this summer. Cleveland, Ohio. August 3. SummerSlam. WWE. The Cleveland Browns Stadium. Unbelievable.”
Paul loves Cleveland and is proud to have grown up there. Paul wants this to be the biggest event Cleveland has ever seen.
Paul said, “I hope I get an opponent with whom I can bring down the house.”
Paul is the WWE United States champion. He has been feuding in the lead up to WrestleMania with Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.
This will be Cleveland’s first SummerSlam in 20 years.
Paul also announced that SmackDown, the night before SummerSlam will take place at Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Paul said he wanted other Cleveland celebrities, such as his brother Jake Paul and Machine Gun Kelly to be at SummerSlam. The event will be broadcast live on Peacock/WWE Network.
