Drew McIntyre, the latest WWE wrestler who has joined Paradigm Talent Agency.
Variety announced today that McIntyre had signed with Paradigm to represent him in all areas. Variety reports that Brad Small, of the Fox Rothschild law firm, will continue to represent him.
Paradigm is the fourth largest agency in Hollywood behind WME, CAA and UTA. Paradigm has recently signed WWE wrestlers Tiffany Stratton and Damian Priest.
SummerSlam is expected to host a heated rivalry between McIntyre, Punk and their respective teams on August 3, as long as Punk can return to action from his torn triceps. McIntyre was crowned Mr. Money in the Bank last weekend after winning the men’s Money in the Bank match. However, his reign didn’t last very long. McIntyre failed to cash in his briefcase that night due to a Punk.
McIntyre, according to the storyline, is currently suspended by WWE for putting his hands onto officials during a tantrum following Money in the Bank. He will still be on Raw next week for a meeting between Adam Pearce and McIntyre.
McIntyre tweeted that signing with Paradigm would allow him to explore other opportunities.
In April, it became official that McIntyre signed a three-year contract extension with WWE. He has a role outside of the ring in the upcoming film “The Killer’s Game,” starring WWE legend Dave Bautista, which will premiere this September.
