WWE star Becky Lynch is now a citizen of the United States in todays Show_Type news
Michael Cole announced the announcement during Monday’s Raw.
This is a huge few-week span in Becky Lynch’s life.
Lynch will be competing against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania to win the Women’s World Championship. Lynch’s book, “The Man: not Your Average Average Girl”, will be released March 26. Lynch was a guest of the White House for St. Patrick’s Day festivities over the weekend.
On Monday, Lynch became a citizen of the United States. Michael Cole announced on Raw that Lynch passed her citizenship test.
Lynch addressed the news to the crowd after Raw ended, telling them that she became an American citizen a few hours earlier.
The 37-year old Lynch (real name Rebecca Quin), is originally from Ireland. She lives in the United States, along with her husband Seth Rollins(Colby Lopez)and their daughter Roux.
In the main event on Raw last night, Lynch beat Nia Jax in Last Woman Standing. Below you can watch the full match.
After the Last Woman Standing match, Ripley walked out to the ring and faced Lynch.
WrestleMania forty will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2019. WWE has not yet announced which night Ripley and Lynch will take place.
