WWE’s new multi-year partnership with X, formerly known as Twitter, is a multiyear deal.
WWE announced at its WrestleMania press conference on Thursday that a new WWE Speed series will be streaming on X starting in spring 2024. The series will include matches with a five-minute time limit.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that WWE and X have agreed to a two-year agreement for the series. Every week, new episodes will be broadcast exclusively on X.
The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

Since its merger with Endeavor UFC last year, the WWE has radically reworked its rights deals. Netflix recently signed a 10-year deal worth $5 billion for Raw and WWE’s International Rights. SmackDown moved from Fox to USA Network with some specials airing on NBC, and WWE NXT moved from USA Network to The CW.
WWE Speed’s weekly cadence, short run time and shorter run time make it a smaller deal compared to those long-form shows. However, this does show that the WWE is willing to slice and dice rights and look for new ways of generating rights revenue, especially since Endeavor has acquired a controlling interest.
The WWE Speed concept was introduced in December with a pilot taped just before an episode SmackDown. The pilot featured wrestlers both from the main roster as well as NXT. The matches that were filmed were Bronson Reed against Nathan Frazer, and Cedric Alexiom vs. Axiom.
