WWE Speed Title Tournament semi-finals to be held in todays Wrestling news
Johnny Gargano won the match against Angel.
The WWE Speed Champion will be either Ricochet or JD McDonagh or Bronson Reed.
Gargano defeated Angel Garza in the first round of this week’s title tournament on WWE Speed. Gargano won the match with 53 seconds remaining after hitting One Final Beat.
The semifinal matches are Reed vs. Gargano and Ricochet McDonagh. Next Wednesday’s WWE Speed episode will feature Ricochet vs. McDonagh as the first match of the round.
“Speed? I am Speed. Gargano said, “You put me in any environment and Johnny Wrestling will thrive,” in a promotional video after beating Angel. “I’m going for the Speed Championship. It doesn’t really matter who I go up against. Bronson Reed: “You may be big but you ain’t Johnny Wrestling.”
WWE Speed matches air exclusively on X and have a time limit of three minutes. WWE and X have a partnership for the show that lasts two years. New episodes premiere every Wednesday.
DIY (Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), are currently the number one contenders for the World Tag Team Titles. They’ll be competing against The Miz & R Truth for the belts at Raw next Monday.
