Punk returns to SmackDown in the December 8th episode.
CM Punk returns to WWE SmackDown in the Tribute to the Troops episode on Friday, December 8.
Punk’s SmackDown comeback will take place next week, on a Tribute to the Troops edition of SmackDown. Punk is expected to make a promo, as the WWE match for his comeback has not yet been announced.
Three matches were also announced for this episode, including two first round matches to determine the number one contender for Logan Paul’s United States Championship.
Dragon Lee will face Santos Escobar in the tournament. Bobby Lashley will be facing Karrion Kross. Kevin Owens, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory are the other participants in the tournament.
Asuka will face Charlotte Flair next week in the feud between Damage CTRL, the rest of SmackDown’s women’s roster and the rest.
While Tribute to the Troops was a standalone special in previous years, this year’s edition will be a SmackDown Episode.
