WWE SmackDown on Friday, July 12, will feature two matches based on angles from this week’s episode.
Michin will face off against Nia Jax, the reigning Queen of the Ring, on next week’s WWE SmackDown. Michin saved Bayley on Friday’s SmackDown, Toronto from an attack by Jax. The Queen was sent packing with a Kendo stick. The match is a rematch of the June 14 SmackDown, where Jax beat Michin in less than two minutes.
A segment aired Friday on WWE’s digital channels. It also set up the tag team match for next week’s SmackDown.
Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews team up to face Angel & Berto, (Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo). Corbin and Santos Escobar engaged in a verbal war in the digital media segment. Then, Escobar’s Legado Del Fantasma ally Berto & Angel attacked Corbin. Crews saved Corbin’s life at the end of this angle. Below is a video of the segment.
