WWE SmackDown to feature Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles King of the Ring match in todays Show_Type news
Five matches have been announced for WWE SmackDown on Friday. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles is a King of the Ring Tournament match.
WWE has revealed the lineup for the Friday episode, which will include two King of the Ring Tournament matches in the first round: Styles vs. Orton and Tama Tonga against Angel Dawkins.
On Friday, there will also be three first-round Queen of the Ring matches.
In Friday’s Queen of the Ring bouts, Bianca Belair will fight Candice LeRae and Jade Cargill against Piper Niven. Naomi will also face Nia Jax.
After Friday’s SmackDown show, only two first round King of the Ring matchups remain. No date has been announced for LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar and Carmell Hayes vs. Baron Corbin.
A second first-round match in the Queen of the Ring bracket of SmackDown has yet to be announced.
The King and Queen Of The Ring tournament finals are set to take place at the PLE with the same name in Jeddah on Saturday, 25 May. WWE TV will continue to broadcast preliminary matches in the lead-up to the event.
