WWE SmackDown announces tag team match in todays Wrestling news
Angel & Humberto will face Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee.
Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee, both LWOs, will be teaming up for tonight’s WWE SmackDown draft edition.
Tonight’s show will feature a tag team match between Mysterio & Lee and Angel & Humberto from Legado del Fantasma. The 2024 WWE Draft is being held at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati.
This is Lee’s first televised bout since the angle in which he was beaten up backstage the night before WrestleMania. Originally, it was announced that Mysterio & Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio & Escobar would take place at WrestleMania. Andrade, who had been injured in the attack on Lee’s leg, teamed up with Rey and Dominik & Escobar to defeat them.
Legado del Fantasma has denied that they are responsible for Lee’s assault. Carlito, a LWO member, has been suggested as the attacker of Lee.
Both the LWO and Legado del Fantasma will not be eligible for tonight’s draft. Both groups are in the pool for night two. Raw will air the second night of the draft on Monday.
