On Friday, June 21, WWE SmackDown will feature two men’s Money in the Bank ladder matches qualifying bouts.
WWE announced two triple-threat qualifying matches for the Friday SmackDown episode on Monday’s Raw.
In the first match, Kevin Owens faces Grayson Waller and WWE Speed Champion Andrade. Randy Orton will face Carmell Hayes & The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga in the other.
After Jey Uso won the Raw qualifier, the winners of Friday’s matches will join him as the first qualifiers to the men’s Money in the Bank match scheduled for Saturday, 7th July in Toronto.
Next Monday’s Raw will feature Braun Strowman vs. Chad Gable and Bronson Reed, as the field for the July 6 pay-per view is filled.
CM Punk has been confirmed to appear on Friday’s SmackDown after he cost Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Title at Clash at the Castle. McIntyre’s “quit” of WWE was a part of the Raw angle that continued the issue between Punk and McIntyre.
