WWE returns to Italy for the very first time in over five years.
WWE announced today that a houseshow will be held in Bologna on May 1, Italy. The house show will take place ahead of WWE’s Backlash live premium event, which will be held in France on May 4th.
The Italy house show will be held at UNIPOL Arena, Bologna.
WWE wrote:
WWE Live in Bologna will feature WWE Superstars including ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair. Also in attendance will be WWE Women’s champion IYO SKY and Drew McIntyre.
Tickets and VIP packages, including Meet & Greet with WWE Superstars, will be on sale starting this Friday, February 16th.
This will be the WWE’s first visit to Italy since its 2018 house show tour.
Backlash will be broadcast live from Lyon on the 4th of May. SmackDown, which will be broadcast live from Lyon the night before, will also be broadcast.
WWE will be in Germany for SmackDown, and its Bash In Berlin PLE this August. These shows will be held on August 30 and 31.
