The company has reportedly let go of the longest-tenured WWE employee, who was a former Warrior Award recipient.
According to PWInsider, WWE senior director for talent relations Sue Aitchinson, was let go Friday, ending her 38-year tenure with the company.
The reason for her dismissal was not given, but this is the third such talent relations change in the ever-changing TKO owned WWE.
Aitchinson was also a former director of community relations. She received the Warrior Award at the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. Stephanie McMahon gave the introduction speech.
She joined the company in 1986. Mike Johnson of PWInsider noted that she was responsible for building WWE’s relationship with Make A Wish. She received the Make-A-Wish Chris Greicius Award in 2006 and 2016.
WWE parted ways earlier this week with executive VP for talent Dan Ventrelle, after nearly two years. Senior VP for athlete ID & Development Trent Wilfinger also left after nearly three years.
