WWE releases poster for Backlash 2024 in todays Wrestling news

Backlash 2024’s poster features the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
WWE’s next live event is now the focus of attention. Backlash will be held in Lyon, France, on Saturday, May 4th. It will be streamed live on Peacock with a special start of 1 p.m. Eastern time in the United States.
Paul “Triple H Levesque” revealed the poster today on social media. It features Cody Rhodes, the new champion, with his title belt.
Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the title in the main event at WrestleMania night two, ending Reigns’ 1,316-day reign as champion.
Backlash will be held at the LDLC Arena, in Lyon. This is the first time France ever hosted a WWE PPV/PLE.
Damian Priest is expected to defend his World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of the Raw post-WrestleMania episode against Jey Uso. Uso won a four-way fatal match in the main event of Raw’s post-WrestleMania show to become the number-one contender to Priest’s title.
Backlash was a phenomenon that occurred in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 2023.
