Sami Zayn defends his newly-won Intercontinental title next week on Raw against Chad Gable. Andrade will also face Dominik Mysterio, in a battle between former friends.
Zayn and Gable spoke backstage after they defeated Imperium Monday. Zayn explained to Gable what he was asking for when he asked him for a favor. He agreed to defend his title in Montreal next week. Gable was the one who trained Zayn for his match against Gunther in WrestleMania.
Dominik and Legado de Fantasma attacked Rey Mysterio on last week’s SmackDown after a match between Elektra Vega and Zelina Lopez. Andrade, who formed an association with Dominik over the past few weeks, attacked Dominik. Andrade and Rey defeated Dominik, Santos Escobar and Dominik at WrestleMania.
