WWE Raw to feature a Women’s tag team title rematch next week in todays Wrestling news
A title rematch was announced for Raw on February 5.
Raw, on Monday, February 5, will feature the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
WWE announced on this week’s episode, that the Kabuki Warriors of Damage CTRL (Asuka and Kaira Sane) will defend their titles next Monday against former champions Katana chance & Kayden Carton.
Last Friday, Asuka & Sane won the titles by defeating Chance & Carter.
The Kabuki Warriors won a non title match on this week’s Raw. They beat Natalya & Tegan Nox. Jackie Redmond, an interviewer, asked Chance & Carter to comment on the match backstage. Chance & Carter claimed that they went to Raw authority Adam Pearce in order to secure a rematch next week.
The fallout from Bayley’s announcement of which champion she will face for WrestleMania forty could be featured on Raw next week.
Bayley announced on Raw, with the members of Damage CTRL present, that she would announce on SmackDown this week whether she would challenge Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania or WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY from Damage CTRL. Bayley won Saturday’s women’s Royal Rumble and was confronted on Raw by both Ripley, and Nia Jax. Jax tried to intimidate Bayley so she would choose SKY.
Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri will host the Monday, February 5 Raw. The announced lineup:
