Tonight on WWE Raw, a tournament to determine the next challenger to Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Title will begin.
WWE announced that tonight’s episode will feature a pair triple threat matches. The matches are: Jey Uso vs. Kofi Kingdon vs. Karrion Kross and The Miz vs. Xavier Woods vs. Pete Dunne.
Breakker won the Intercontinental Title from Sami Zayn during SummerSlam. His first title defence was a rematch of a two-outof-three-falls rematch with Zayn two weeks ago on Raw, where Breakker won by two falls to one.
Zayn recently received stem cell treatment in Mexico to help with some nagging injury. He and Uso have reunited on Raw after previously being in The Bloodline. Uso still wants to win his first singles title of his career.
WWE has not announced when the tournament winners will get their title shot.
Raw will be broadcast tonight from the Amica Mutual Pavilion, Providence, Rhode Island. This is the last episode before Saturday’s Bash at Berlin PLE.
