WWE Raw announces two new matches in todays Wrestling news
The matchups between Ludwig Kaiser vs. Kofi Kingston and Miz vs. JD MacDonagh have been set.
Raw’s Monday episode will feature a couple of new matches.
Raw will air both Kofi Kingston against Ludwig Kaiser and The Miz against JD McDonagh on Monday, January 8th. Adam Pearce, Raw’s general manager, announced the bouts via a video on social media today.
Last month, Imperium attacked Kingston as he was dressed as Santa Claus. Jey Uso saved Kingston.
Kingston & Uso won a tag-match on Raw earlier this week. The match ended with an unplanned stoppage when Kingston droppedkicked Vinci in the head. Vinci tweeted he was fine following the injury scare.
Xavier Woods, Kingston’s New Day teammate and tag-team partner, has been injured but is expected to return to the road with WWE in the near future.
In a tag-match on Raw, Miz & R Truth defeated McDonagh & Dominik Mysterio earlier this week.
Monday’s Raw is taking place from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. An appearance by CM Punk is part of the lineup for the episode:
