WWE Raw adds Tag Team Championship Match in todays Wrestling news
WWE Raw is scheduled to defend the World Tag Team Championships.
Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, from Judgment day, earned a shot at titles last week after winning a four-way match between the top contenders. On tonight’s show, they will face The Miz and R-Truth to see who takes home the belts.
WWE announced the match officially on Monday.
It will be the third time Awesome truth has defended their titles on WWE programming, since they won them at WrestleMania forty. They defeated #DIY on the Raw episodes of April 22 and 29, respectively.
WWE Raw takes place this week at the Greensboro Coliseum, and includes semifinal matches for both the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring Tournaments. The show will feature Jey Uso against Gunther, and Lyra Vallkyria against IYO Sky.
WWE Raw announced lineup for May 20, 2024 —
- King of the Ring semifinals: Gunther vs. Jey Uso
- Queen of the Ring semifinals: Lyra Valkyria vs. IYO SKY
- Sami Zayn vs. Chad Gable
- World Tag Team Champions The Awesome Truth (R-Truth & The Miz) defend against Judgment Day (JD McDonagh & Finn Balor)
