WWE NXT wrestler will challenge for Triple Crown Championship of AJPW in todays Wrestling news

WWE will send an NXT wrestler from the WWE to compete in AJPW’s January 3 event.

WWE will send an NXT wrestler from NXT to compete in All Japan Pro Wrestling Triple Crown Championship.

AJPW has been hyping the fact that a mystery wrestler would be challenging for the Triple Crown title on January 3 at New Year Giant Series 202024. In a video posted by AJPW on Saturday, the wrestler who will be the mystery challenger is a wrestler of WWE NXT. The identity of this wrestler has not been revealed.

The video shows AJPW president Tsuyoki fukuda talking on the phone to someone from WWE. Fukuda said AJPW is looking for a strong wrestler to compete for the Triple Crown from NXT.

Fukuda: “You got a good superstar for us?” What? Submission assassin? Killer catch style? Great. Thank you. Thank you. It’s a pleasure. I appreciate your support. “Please thank your boss at WWE.”
Katsuhiko Nakajima currently holds the Triple Crown Championship, but he will be defending his title against Kento miyahara in AJPW’s December 31 event.

Nakajima defeated Yuma Aoyagi to win the Triple Crown Championship in November.

The New Year Giant Series of 2024 will be held at Korakuen Hall, Tokyo.
