Palmer’s first hip operation went “fantastic.”
Dani Palmer, a WWE NXT wrestler, has begun her recovery after having the first of two hip operations.
Palmer revealed on Wednesday that she needed to undergo double hip surgery in an Instagram post. The first surgery took place on Wednesday, and it went “fantastic.” She will be having her second surgery later in the year.
Palmer wrote:
Jeremiah 29:11. This year has been chaotic…scary, but BEAUTIFUL…and not at all what I had planned for 2024…but a peace that is beyond comprehension because I know who wrote my story. I’m having a double hip replacement this year. God is great, because I was able to remove the first one this morning. It went well! Thank you all for your prayers.
Palmer (real name AJ Amrhein), before signing with WWE in the year 2022, was a fitness trainer. She was a former tumbler at Baylor University, and in 2020 she was named the Female Scholar Athlete.
Palmer made her WWE debut on NXT Level Up, in November 2022. She began her NXT TV career in 2023. Palmer lost in the first round of last year’s Women Breakout Tournament to Lola Vice.
