No Mercy crowned new Tag Team Champions.
Nathan Frazer and Axiom won the first match of the premium live event held in Colorado on Sunday, beating Chase U’s Ridge Holland & Andre Chase. Frazer and Axiom isolated Chase at the end of the match, allowing Axiom a Spanish fly. Frazer connected with Phoenix Splash and won the titles a second time.
Chase U consoled each other in the ring after the match. Ridge Holland, upset, turned on his Chase U friends and attacked Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne, as they exited the ring, before focusing on Chase by pressing slamming to the ground. Thea Hail begged Holland to stop but he pushed Chase through the announcers’ table, forcing him to be carried out of the building.
In recent months, Holland had been more closely associated with Chase U despite the reluctance of Osborne and Hudson. They had doubts about Holland’s true intentions. Chase & Holland defeated Frazer & Axiom on the August 13 NXT episode to win the titles and end their first reign as champions.
