Next week, NXT will feature two title matches.
Axiom and Nathan Frazer will defend their NXT Tag Team title against Je’Von Evans & Cedric Alexander. In a segment that aired Tuesday, the champions consoled Evans following his loss in the main event last week. Frazer was more accommodative, telling Evans that he was young and still had plenty of time to adjust. Evans slapped Frazer while their partners held them up.
Axiom reluctantly agreed to Frazer’s offer of the NXT Tag Team Titles.
Charlie Dempsey has also agreed to let Lexis King have a shot at winning the Heritage Cup trophy next week. King told Dempsey he did not want to be viewed as a loose-cannon like his dad. Later, King went to Ava’s desk and asked her who he should have in his corner during the match. Ava said that she couldn’t.
