The NXT Championship as well as the NXT Women’s Championships will be defended at the premiere of WWE NXT, which airs on The CW October 1.
On Tuesday’s WWE NXT, two title defenses were announced for the October 1, 2018 show. Trick Williams defeated Pete Dunne on Tuesday’s NXT to earn a chance at Ethan Page’s NXT Championship in Chicago on October 1.
Roxanne Perez, who will also defend her Women’s Championship on the 1st of October show, was also made official at the premiere. Giulia challenged Perez on last week’s episode, and then won her first match in the ring against Chelsea Green on Tuesday.
The October 1 show will also feature appearances by Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair as well as CM Punk and The Miz hosting Miz TV.
