WWE NXT announces Tag Team Title number one contender’s Tournament in todays Wrestling news
The winners will be facing Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin in Stand & Deliver.
Stand & Deliver will be decided by a tag team tournament.
WWE posted a social media video showing tag teams arguing about who should win the next NXT Tag Team Title match. Ava arrived to announce a tournament that would take place over the next 3 weeks to determine who the new number 1 contenders are.
The opening round matches feature LWO (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro), Axiom and Nathan Frazer, and Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, vs. Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows. The winners of these matches will advance to a Triple Threat bout, where the winners will be facing the champions on the 6th April.
Breakker & Corbin have won the NXT Tag Team Titles shortly after winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in the last month. They successfully defended their titles on Tuesday by defeating Chase U (Andre Chase and Duke Hudson). Breakker, who signed with SmackDown a few weeks ago, has
