WWE has entered a collaboration with one of world’s best soccer teams.
The merchandise collection was launched by WWE and Manchester City Football Club on Thursday. It includes six T-shirts, as well as a jersey with the WWE logo. The jerseys will be used on Manchester City’s preseason tour in the United States.
The T-shirt designs were inspired by the catchphrases of WWE superstars Steve Austin, CMPunk, Becky Lynch Roman Reigns and John Cena. One of the shirts reads “Aguero, 93:20,” which refers to the time Sergio Aguero scored the last-second goal in the 2012 Premier League season.
The shirts can be purchased through the WWE Shop, Man City’s website, or Fanatics. The shirts will also be available at the new pop up CityStore in New York City.
WWE announced that Bayley, the WWE Women’s Championship, and Baron Corbin would be visiting the CityStore at 6th Avenue on Friday morning from 10am to 11am for an exclusive meet and greet. The Premier League Trophy will be available Friday and all weekend long.
Manchester City has won the Premier League for four years in a line.
