WWE has hired independent wrestler Patrick Scott to work on the creative side.
Scott confirmed in a social media posting that he has been hired by WWE as a writer’s assistant. Bodyslam.net reported his hiring for the first time on Sunday.
“Yesterday I left NC as a wrestler. Scott wrote, “Today I woke in CT as a @WWE employee. “I have more to say but Twitter’s character limits are telling me to go home.” “Thank you to everyone who has supported my career for the past 10 years.
Scott’s X profile states that he will be a writer’s assistant on SmackDown. A writers’ assistant helps creative team members with their responsibilities.
Scott’s farewell match was held for Premier Wrestling Federation during their Goodbye Crystal Coast weekend event. Scott lost to Bojack during a Loser Leaves Town Match. Scott left his boots on the ring after the match.
Scott has been an enhancement talent in NXT for two years, appearing both in 2017 and 2018. Scott, who wrestles out of North Carolina was a tag-team champion for PWF on the independent scene and Deadlock Pro-Wrestling.
