WWE hires former ESPN executive to head media & production in todays Wrestling news

The move comes following Kevin Dunn’s departure.

Former ESPN executive hired as Head of Media & Production at WWE

In a Tuesday press release, WWE announced Lee Fitting has joined the promotion as Head of Media & Production. Fitting worked for ESPN for over 25 years before he was let go in August of 2023. Fitting’s title at ESPN was Senior vice president of production. He was responsible for the production of Monday Night Football, College GameDay and the College Football Playoff.

In a press release, WWE President Nick Khan stated that Lee is a “phenomenal leader and executive” who is known for his work that garners both critical acclaim as well as mass appeal. “Lee is a fantastic addition to our stellar production and media team and will play a crucial role in helping WWE’s growth.”

Kevin Dunn was one of WWE’s most powerful people for decades. He left the company in 2023. Dunn held the title of Executive Produce and Chief of Global Television Distribution.

Dunn’s departure came less than four months after Endeavor acquired WWE.
