WWE Elimination Chamber Update: Men’s match lineup set; only one spot left for women’s match in todays Wrestling news
SmackDown on Friday featured four qualifying matches.
Now we know the complete lineup for this years’ Elimination Chamber match.
Drew McIntyre will face Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley and Kevin Owens in the Elimination Chamber match for men in Perth, Australia, on Saturday, 24th February. The winner will face World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in WrestleMania forty.
Owens and Paul, the last two wrestlers who qualified, defeated Dominik Mysterio in his match on SmackDown and The Miz against Owens and Paul.
Tiffany Stratton, and Naomi qualified for Elimination chamber tonight. Stratton beat Zelina Vega during her qualifying match. Naomi defeated Alba Fyre in a qualifier.
Naomi was originally scheduled to face Shotzi, but Shotzi was forced to withdraw after suffering a serious knee injury at an NXT taping this week.
Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan Stratton and Naomi have all qualified for the women’s Elimination Chamber match. Only one spot remains. The final participant will be determined by a last-chance Battle Royal on Raw this Monday.
The winner of the Women’s Chamber will compete for the Women’s World Championship during WrestleMania. Rhea Ripley is currently the Women’s World Champion and will defend her title against Nia Jax in the Elimination Chamber.
Elimination Chamber will be broadcast live from Optus Stadium, Perth on the 24th of February. It will begin at 5 am Eastern time.
