WWE Draft 2024: Night one picks and post-show selections in todays Wrestling news
Keep up to date with the latest selections made at the first night of the 2024 WWE Draft.
SmackDown in Cincinnati, Ohio will begin the 2024 WWE Draft with four rounds.
Tonight, there will be 16 selections (eight for SmackDown, and eight for Raw). SmackDown will have the first overall pick tonight. Raw will pick first after the draft concludes Monday.
WWE champions will not be eligible for a draft, as announced this week. They will stay on their current brand. Only WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Asuka and Kairi Sane can be selected. They will appear on both brands as long as they retain their titles.
The roster is divided in two draft pools, with different wrestlers being eligible to be chosen each night. The NXT wrestlers are also eligible for selection.
Roman Reigns “voluntarily withdrawn” himself from the draft. This was announced at SmackDown’s start. Paul Heyman confirmed that Reigns will not be returning any time soon.
