WWE crowns new number 1 contenders for Women’s Tag Team Titles in todays Wrestling news
WWE has crowned a new top contender for Jacqueline Cargill & Bianca Belair’s Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Shayna Basszler & Zoey stark won a four way bout on Monday’s WWE Raw and are now the number one contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Titles held by Belair & Cargill.
The date for the Belair & Cargill vs. Baszler & Stark PLE title match has not been announced. However, the bout may be announced on Saturday’s King & Queen of the Ring PLE Pre-show if Belair is eliminated from the Queen of the Ring Tournament in this Friday’s SmackDown.
In a digital-exclusive, it was also revealed that Indi Hartwell & candice LeRae will be getting a title shot and Baszler & Stark could face them if successful.
The four-way Raw match also featured Kairy Sane & Dakota Kai from Damage CTRL, Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri as well as Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Baszler won the match by pinning Dupri.
Since Backlash in France on May 4, Belair & Cargill hold the Women’s Tag Titles after defeating Sane & Asuka to win the belts, they have been able to claim the titles.
