Another Bloodline family members has signed a contract with WWE.
WWE posted a social media update on Friday revealing its latest class of NXT signings. Lance Anoa’i, the son of Samu and the grandson of Afa the Wild Samoan, is featured. Anoa’i, 32, is a former MLW wrestler who spent a few weeks competing for Pro Wrestling NOAH 2023. He has made some enhancement talent for WWE appearances over the years. In 2019, he was involved in a storyline with Roman Reigns, Shane McMahon and Shane McMahon.
Anoai’s signing was all but confirmed after he was spotted at a recent charity event with the NXT talent.
Anoa’i, while in MLW was a part of a new version the Samoan SWAT team with Jacob Fatu & Juicy Finau. Anoa’i & Finau were the MLW Tag Team champions for a single reign.
Elijah Holyfield, the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield, and Trill Williams have also been confirmed to be signing with WWE. They will join the Performance Center. Both had tryouts this summer. Holyfield was a running back at University of Georgia while Williams played defensive back for Syracuse University. Each had a brief NFL careers after college.
Williams appeared in the background during a segment of NXT this week.
Zaria, who made her debut on NXT in the last month, is also included as a recruit. She is featured prominently on television. She is from Australia and used to wrestle under the name Delta.
