Roman Reigns is eager to get his hands onto The Bloodline.
During Friday’s SmackDown, a tag team match pitting unlikely teammates Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu for the Bad Blood event in Atlanta next month was officially announced. Rhodes, who had earlier said he didn’t intend to sign the contract, signed the contract after he and Reigns defeated a sneak attack from Tonga Loa & Tama Tonga.
In the opening of the show, Rhodes defeated Sikoa in an steel cage match for the WWE Championship. Fatu and the Bloodline attacked Rhodes following the match, which led Reigns to intervene. Fatu, who had been outside the cage, entered while Reigns and Fatu were having a staredown. Sikoa pulled him away before the fight could progress.
Nick Aldis was a part of a show-long storyline where he tried to sign the Bad Blood tag team match. Cody Rhodes told Aldis, however, that he would not sign it because after tonight he was done working with the Bloodline.
Nia Jax announced on Friday that she will be defending her WWE Women’s Championship in Bad Blood. The WWE Women’s Championship will be defended by Nia Jax at Bad Blood. However, the match that determines her opponent is a tag-team match on SmackDown next week. Nia Jax & Tiffany Stratton will team up to face Bayley & Naomi.
