WWE announces partnership ACP, Montez will serve as mentor in todays Wrestling news

WWE has announced that it will be partnering with American Corporate Partners.
The national non-profit helps veterans and spouses of active-duty military personnel develop new careers by providing mentoring, career advice, and networking opportunities.
In a video posted on social media Monday, Montez revealed that he would serve as a mentor for WWE’s partnership with the organization.

This new partnership helps veterans find a new career. This is something I am very excited to announce. I’m thrilled to be working with veterans and their families.
WWE sent the following press release earlier today announcing their partnership:
STAMFORD (Conn.), January 17, 2024: WWE(r), a part of TKO Group Holdings, (NYSE: TKO), announced today a new partnership. American Corporate Partners is a nonprofit organization that empowers returning veterans and spouses of active-duty military personnel through one-onone professional development mentoring programs. As part of this partnership, WWE Superstar Montez Ford and former United States Marine will become the first registered professional athlete for ACP.
“WWE has a history of supporting active service members, veterans, and their families,” said WWE Superstar Montez, who served as a U.S. Marine from 2008 to 2012. “It’s an honor to represent WWE in this partnership with ACP, and its outstanding mentoring program.”
ACP was launched in 2008 and pairs applicants with a mentor based on their career compatibility, level of experience, location, and personal interests. More than 30,000 veterans, spouses, and small business owners have completed the ACP mentorship. This includes resume building, interview preparation, career exploration and networking opportunities.
Sidney E. Goodfriend is the Chairman of ACP. “We are all excited to begin our partnership,” he said. “Our post 9/11 veteran protégés often seek career guidance in entertainment, and we are thrilled to be able provide them with mentors who are top leaders in the industry.”
