WWE announces participants for Andre the Giant Battle Royal in todays Wrestling news
Next Friday, SmackDown will host a battle royal.
WWE has announced 20 participants for the Andre the Giant Battle Royal in 2024.
The memorial battle royal is part of SmackDown’s WrestleMania go-home show on Friday, April 5. The episode will be broadcast from the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, on the eve WrestleMania night one.
The following wrestlers were listed in a graphic shown on the Saturday edition of The SmackDown LowDown as being among those who will be competing in the battle-royal:

- Ricochet
- Chad Gable
- Bronson Reed
- Shinsuke Nakamura
- Omos
- Julius Creed
- Brutus Creed
- Ivar
- Akira Tozawa
- Otis
- JD McDonagh
- Apollo Crews
- Cedric Alexander
- Ashante “Thee” Adonis
- Elton Prince
- Kit Wilson
- Cameron Grimes
- Veer
- Sanga
Since its introduction in 2014, the Andre the Giant Battle Royal is held annually except for 2020. The battle royal was originally a WrestleMania contest, but has been on SmackDown from 2021.
The wrestlers that have won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal throughout the years are: Cesaro (Big Show), Baron Corbin (Mojo Rawley), Matt Hardy (Braun Strowman), Jeddick Moss and Bobby Lashley.
