WWE announces a deal to keep Raw on USA Network until 2024 in todays Wrestling news
The show will be available on Netflix by the beginning of 2025.
WWE Raw will continue to air on USA Network until 2024.
TKO Group Holdings had announced earlier this year that Netflix will be the new home for Raw starting in 2025. The deal with NBCU expired in October. This meant that for a period of three months, no one would have the rights to broadcast the show.
TKO Group Holdings announced in its First Quarter Earnings Report released on Wednesday that a deal worth $25 million was reached with USA Network to keep Raw on the network for the remainder of the year.
The release today states that “WWE has entered into a 25 million dollar domestic media rights agreement” with NBCUniversal to allow Raw to continue on USA Network until the fourth quarter 2024.
The report for today continues to say that the company has adjusted its plans for the year due to the additional revenue.
“Based on the Company’s strong performance in the first three quarters of the year, as well as the $25 million domestic media right agreement for Raw in the fourth quarter of 2020, it has raised its guidance. It now expects revenue for 2024 to be between $2.610 billion and $2.685 billion with Adjusted EBITDA between $1.185 billion and $1.205 billion.”
