WWE on A&E returning in April, a new Rivals host named in todays Wrestling news
The roundtable will now be hosted by comedian Gabriel Iglesias, replacing Freddie Prinze Jr.
WWE programming will be back on A&E in no time.
Today, it was announced that new episodes of WWE Rivals and WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures will premiere on A&E in April. Most Wanted Treasures returns at 8 p.m. ET/PT Sunday, April 14th. WWE Rivals will return the following Sunday (April 21) with new episodes. Rivals will air on Sunday, April 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Most Wanted Treasures will follow at 9 p.m.
Booker T and Mick Foley “travel across the nation in search of priceless [memorabilia] from WWE’s past” on Most Wanted Treasures. This season will feature Hulk Hogan as well as The Miz, Cody Rhodes and Sheamus.
The press release stated:
This season, viewers are captivated by a star-studded quest to find artifacts of WCW. The team will also attempt to reclaim items from WWE history, such as Dusty Rhodes’ polka dot clothing, Triple H’s signature sledgehammer and items from The Ultimate Warrior’s illustrious and illustrious professional career.
For this series of episodes, Rivals will feature a new host at the roundtable. Gabriel Iglesias replaces Freddie Prinze Jr. Cody Rhodes and Natalya will be joining Iglesias for a discussion of some of the most famous in-ring rivalries in pro wrestling history.
There will be Rivals Episodes focusing on Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, Steve Austin and Booker T, Ric Flaair vs. Dusty Rhodes. Triple H vs. Seth Rollins. John Cena and Batista. Hulk Hogan against The Rock. The Rock.
Also, Biography: WWE Legends will return on Sunday, 26 May. There will be documentaries about Mark Henry, Eddie Guerrero and The Steiners. This Sunday, March 31, the current season of Biography will conclude with an episode about Roman Reigns. The Rivals episode that night will focus on the Daniel Bryan and Miz feud.
