Battle of the Belts XI will be a stop on the road to All In for AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm.
AEW announced that a title-eliminator match will take place this Saturday (July 27,) at Battle of the Belts XI. This is the first match announced for the Battle of the Belts event. If Valkyrie wins she will earn a future shot at Women’s World Championship.
Storm defends the AEW Women’s World Championship against May on Sunday, 25 August at All In. May was Storm’s protégé until she turned against her two weeks ago in an angle. After beating Willow Nightingale at the Owen Hart Foundation finals, May attacked Storm in a way that left her bloody.
This Saturday, Battle of the Belts XI will begin at 10 p.m. Eastern Time. It will air live on TNT after Collision. Both shows are part of AEW’s residency at Esports Stadium, Arlington, Texas.
