Wolf Dogs vs. Alpha Academy announced as stipulation for next WWE NXT in todays Wrestling news
The episode of March 26 will also feature four more matches.
A stipulation bout featuring The Wolf Dogs and The Wolf Dogs vs. Raw’s Alpha Academy will be one of five matches on the WWE NXT March 26 show.
Next week, NXT Tag Team champions The Wolf Dogs will face Alpha Academy’s Otis and Akira Tozawa. If Alpha Academy win, they will join the NXT Tag Team Title match at Stand & Deliver, on Saturday, April 6th.
Breakker & Corbin will defend their Tag titles against the winner of a number-one contenders match scheduled for the NXT show on April 2. However, the Stand & Deliver fight becomes a triple challenge if Alpha Academy wins next week.
Next week’s NXT will also feature four more matches and a series vignettes for Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes’ Stand & Deliver match.
The “Prime Target vignette” series on the next week’s show will recap Williams vs. Hayes, as well as preview their Stand & Deliver competition.
Ilja Dragunov, the NXT champion, will be featured on the episode of next week against Stacks in a non title match. Dragunov defends his NXT title at Stand & Deliver against Stacks’ partner Tony D’Angelo.
NXT GM Ava announced a couple of matches for the show next week that, according to her, could determine who will compete in the NXT North American Championship at Stand & Deliver. Shawn Spears and Dijak will be facing off on the episode of next week, while Josh Briggs will face Duke Hudson. Oba Femi, the current North American champion, has yet to be matched with an opponent for Stand & Deliver.
Thea Hail and Jazmyn Nyx will compete in a women’s match next week. This will be Nyx’s debut televised contest. Nyx cost Hail and her Chase U stablemate Riley Osborne their NXT Heritage Cup Match on this week’s show against Drew Gulak.
