Willow Nightingale is set to make her first CMLL Women’s Championship defense at the promotion’s 91st anniversary event.
CMLL announced Wednesday night that Nightingale will face Zeuxis at the 91st anniversary event scheduled for Friday September 13 in Arena Mexico.
AEW will be heavily represented at the 91st anniversary show. Chris Jericho will face Mistico in a fantasy match, and Orange Cassidy is set to make his CMLL debut on the show.
Nightingale will be fighting Kris Statlander on Saturday’s AEW All Out Pay-per-View in a Chicago Street Fight. The CMLL title of Nightingale will not be at stake in the All Out contest.
Zeuxis debuted in AEW earlier this year. She lost to Mercedes Mone, a TBS champion, on the June 12 Dynamite.
Nightingale took home the CMLL Women’s Championship at a joint NJPW/CMLL Fantasticamania in San Jose, California on July 13.
