Will Ospreay faces off against another of his Don Callis family stablemates.
AEW announced that Ospreay vs. Powerhouse Hobbs is scheduled to take place on Dynamite Wednesday, April 3. Don Callis will provide commentary for the match.
Tony Khan has billed Ospreay’s fight with Hobbs as a “Battle of Wills.”
This will be Ospreay’s third match against a member of the Don Callis Family in AEW. He’s already beaten Konosuke Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher in the last few weeks.
Ospreay is 3-0 since joining AEW full-time. He has beaten Takeshita Fletcher and Katsuyori Schibata.
AEW is building up to a dream match between Ospreay & Bryan Danielson. The match will take place on Sunday, April 21, at AEW’s Dynasty pay per view in St. Louis.
Last Friday, Hobbs & Fletcher were defeated by Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Orange Cassidy), in the wildcard round of the AEW Tag Team Title Tournament on Rampage.
