Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher to be AEW Dynamite in todays Wrestling news
The two United Empire & Don Callis Family players will face off one-on-one.
Will Ospreay, who made his first appearance in the ring as an official AEW member a memorable experience, will be looking to keep up the good times on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
Ospreay, who is currently the Ring of Honor TV champion and a member of United Empire, will face his teammate Kyle Fletcher, who is currently the Ring of Honor TV champion in Duluth Georgia on Wednesday in a non-title match.
After Ospreay defeated Konosuke Takashita in Sunday’s Revolution pay per view, the two exchanged a few words and showed their respect. This match could be the best of the year.
The first time they’ve ever faced off was in February 2019, when they both competed for the FCP promotion in England. The two, along with Fletcher’s Aussie Open teammates Mark Davis, will eventually become factionmates within United Empire by the fall of 2021.
All three men now have AEW contracts, with Davis on the sidelines due to an injury.
Takeshita, Ospreay, and Fletcher all share the same Don Callis Family. As of now, there has not been any tension within the group.
Fletcher will be playing his first match since he lost to Chris Jericho at the Dynamite Dynamites on January 31st.
As of this writing it is the only match announced for Wednesday’s post Revolution show that will feature a new set as well as an updated Dynamite Logo.
