Next Saturday, former International Champion Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher will face off in the AEW Full Gear.
The match for Saturday’s pay-per view was announced on Wednesday’s Dynamite, during an in-ring promotional between Ospreay & Fletcher – one week after Ospreay’s surprise return. It was his first time since October’s WrestleDream, when Fletcher turned against him and cost his friend the title.
After the two argued over the past and how they got to this point, they agreed to a match with Full Gear. Brian Cage and Lance Archer then came out to support Fletcher. Ospreay scouted the area and brought both Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs out. The six men then brawled in the arena.
It’s their first singles match since March 2024, when Ospreay beat them in much more friendly circumstances.
