Tony Khan confirmed Wednesday that Ospreay would face Kyle Fletcher, in a match involving two members of Don Callis’ family.
It’s official! After one of the greatest AEW matches in history vs. @Takesoup, Will Ospreay is going to fight the incredible Kyle Fletcher TOMORROW!” he wrote on X Tuesday night.
The match was announced at Revolution on Sunday. However, during the media scrum Khan stated that it was “questionable” if Ospreay was able to compete after he scraped a back in his match against KonosukeTakeshita following a sheer drop brainbuster onto the turnbuckle.
Ospreay, Fletcher, and Fletcher’s Aussie Open partner Mark Davis were also part of the United Empire stable in NJPW.
