The short-lived Rascalz Reunion is no more.
Wes Lee shocked the NXT audience on Tuesday night by turning against his friends Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel and Nathan Frazer after MSK lost the NXT Tag Team Title match to Axiom and Nathan Frazer. Lee took the pinfall.
After the match, Miguel helped Lee up and consoled him. Lee then superkicked Miguel, shocking the audience. Lee kicked Wentz in the genitals when Wentz asked him what he was up to. Lee yelled that he had “left him alone”, as he assaulted Wentz and kicked him to the outside.
Lee threw Miguel into a nearby barricade as he tried to recover. Wentz was propped against the steel steps when Lee delivered a double running-knee strike to close the show.
Wentz and Miguel, TNA stars, arrived as Lee pondered his future after his loss to Oba Femia at Heatwave last week. They ended up reuniting and earning a title match on last week’s NXT after defeating Axiom and Je’Von Evans.
