Wardlow won the Eight-Man All-Star Scramble in Revolution.
Wardlow will soon be a contender for the AEW world championship.
He defeated Dante Martin and Chris Jericho in the Eight-Man All-Star Scramble, which took place at Sunday’s AEW Revival. He also defeated CMLL’s Magnus as well as Brian Cage, Hook and Lance Archer. Wardlow laid out Hook with a hook, then pinned Martin after a powerbomb.
Wardlow now has a future AEW World Championship Match.
Originally, the match involving Wardlow was called Meat Madness. Archer and Hobbs were announced as participants. Tony Khan, on social media, wrote that Meat Madness was being postponed because of injuries. Magnus and Martin won the qualifying matches on Rampage & Collision respectively.
Adam Cole, who revealed himself to be the devil in December at AEW Worlds’ End, laid out his plans for taking over AEW’s title scene. He put Wardlow in charge with pursuing the World Championship. Wardlow was supposed to forfeit the title if he won it.
