Wardlow was favoring one knee after an awkward power-bomb spot.
Wardlow, despite some concerns after his win over Komander in AEW Dynamite on social media, took to the platform to calm any fears regarding his right knee.
Wardlow was favoring his knee at various points after a couple of dropkicks. However, it looked like normal selling. He did a jump unassisted from the floor to the apron after he was pushed into the ringside stairs where he tried to shake his leg loose.
Wardlow’s knee appeared to give out slightly when he power bombed Komander at the end of the match, making the move look awkward.
Wardlow was clearly muttering ‘f**k’ and limping afterward, slamming hands on the ring steps to show apparent frustration. You can see some of this in the clip below.
He finally went to the rear with The Undisputed Kingdom, his right kneepad completely pulled down.
He took to X nearly 40 minutes after the show ended to share an update.
Wardlow has a perfect 8-0 record in his most recent stint after a long absence that lasted between June and October 2023.
